You know why you're here.  If you are looking at the M8, you re no doubt familiar with Meshuggah and the fact that their music and tone has been knocked off by countless bands for the past two decades.  Massive bottom end with power, clarity, and unreal tightness are the heart of the The M model pickup. And that is the foundation of Meshuggah's sound.  

Our M model was the pickup we designed for Meshuggah's Fredrik Thordendahl and his signature Ibanez 8-string guitar. In Yiddish, "Meshuggah" means crazy/mad and we think you´ll fall madly in love with a model M pickup with its massive power, clarity and attitude.

This pickup is out of this world. The design is a combination of winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup to give you more of everything and caused many players to give up active pickups. With lots of gain on your amp, harmonics are a piece of cake. The powerful high output M model humbucker let your notes come through even with lots of distortion on your amp. The pickup has lots of low end but always stays tight.

Available as a standard sized 8-string humbucker (if replacing DiMarzios) or as an EMG 808 style covered humbucker if replacing active pickups. Also avalible as bridge pickup.
