“This is one of the most incredible sounding guitars in the shop. Come try it, and then be prepared to fist fight me if you disagree. The amount of resonance and energy this guitar has is almost as ridiculous as the idea of you and I physically assaulting each other over a tone dispute.”
– Victor From the Axe Palace (He’s the cute one. He’s also the one that damaged it in the first place and subsequently repaired it. So maybe he’s got some sort of bias towards selling this instrument in order to remedy his own guilt. Maybe he’s just a nice guy and wishes someone would enjoy this instrument as much as it deserves. Maybe he just wants to fist fight strangers. There’s only one way to find out. See you soon.)
Start with the elegant, flowing archtop curves of the famed ESP Horizon shape, and then present it in our new Violet Pearl finish that evokes elegant weaponry. Built by our acclaimed luthiers in Southern California, USA, the USA Horizon-II Violet Pearl gives you a unique duality of beauty and beast in a finely-crafted instrument.
It offers set-thru construction for smooth access to the highest frets at 25.5” scale, pairing a carved-topped mahogany body with a three-piece, thin u-shaped maple neck. Other design features include an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets and abalone offset block inlays, and a fully bound fingerboard, and headstock.
