We are thrilled to announce the new Ibanez Custom Shop Wes Hauch Signature guitar: the ICWH727 Iceman 7-String Baritone!

Built in the Ibanez Custom Shop in Japan by the master-builder Sugi and his team, the ICWH727 is an exceptional instrument that I believe to be the finest Ibanez 7-string ever constructed. Wes has spent years meticulously prototyping and R&D this instrument to ensure flawless playability, balance, and amazing tone. Anyone who has the chance to get their hands on this instrument to experience it for yourself, will immediately understand.

There simply is no one more deserving of a signature model guitar in our opinion. Wes is an absolutely fantastic guitarist, songwriter, and person. Known for his work in Alluvial, as well as his current touring duties with The Black Dahlia Murder, Wes has a surgical yet beautiful expressive playing style that is equal parts ferocious and melodic.

This is the first ever commercially available Ibanez Custom Shop 7-string, and the first Japan-built Iceman model in over 30 years. It features Wes’ Seymour Duncan Jupiter pickups, a premium Flame Maple top,  a 27″ scale length, Set-Neck construction, African Mahogany body, 3pc Maple/Purpleheart neck, Lo Pro Edge tremolo system, a slim Wizard 7 neck (18mm @ 1st to 20mm @ 12th), 24 jumbo frets with Custom Shop fret-edge treatment, hard shell case, and so much more!
