Ibanez M8M Marten Hagstrom from Meshuggah Signature 8-String made by Sugi in Japan in Weathered Black.
The M8M is an 8 string solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It’s the initial signature model of Swedish guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström, known for their work with the progressive metal/ djent band Meshuggah. The M8M is crafted in Japan by Sugi with a shape based on the RG series.
The M8M features neck through body construction with alder wings mated to a maple and jatoba neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard that has a 29.4″ scale and no inlays. Components include an FX Edge III-8 fixed bridge, a locking nut, a single passive/ceramic Lundgren M8 bridge pickup, and Schaller security lock strap buttons.
