Nailbomb 6 String Set in Matte Black. This set features triangle tabs, short leg, a 53mm Bridge (trem space), 4 Conductor wiring and reverse magnet polarity on the neck, which allows for pairing the inner and outer coils when coil-tapping both neck and bridge pickups.
The Alnico V Nailbomb Bridge is one of our shop favorites. Its aggressive and powerful enough to cover hard rock and metal tones, but because it is uncompressed it doesnt sound out of place when used for more classic tones. It also cleans up nicely if you like to ride the volume pot. It is fuller in the midrange and sweeter in the highs than it’s ceramic counterpart. In brighter guitars, or for players who aren’t tuning down further than C, we cannot recommend a more versatile pickup. The neck pickup is a very unique, almost dry sounding pickup that is perfectly voiced for blues, classic rock and fusion sounds. The bridge also pairs well with the VHII or Coldsweat neck for those looking for more liquidy neck tones under gain.
The Nailbomb humbucker is the perfect synergy of old-school and modern rock tones in a high output humbucker with Alnico V.
From hot, fat blues rock through to aggressive thrash, the Nailbomb explodes with a strong and commanding voice. Contemporary players will take advantage of the full bore reaction of the pickup on full tilt; older school players will enjoy the range of classic tones and response using the volume pot to clean up.
The default Alnico V magnet offers up a huge, deep bottom end with rich, throaty mid range and warm highs.
The Nailbomb neck humbucker has a woody and bright character when used clean; add overdrive and the tone tightens up for a focused and precise attack.
