Seymour Duncan Custom Shop NAGUS 7 String Bridge Humbucker – White Soapbar Cover

While installing the various prototype versions of the Nagus in as many different guitars as we could, we found that the Sentient was our favorite neck pickup. It is a perfect complement to what we were looking for in the Nagus bridge. We have plenty of Sentient Neck models available to match all the various colors and covers we stock for the Nagus bridge. While the Nagus is a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop creation, the Sentient models are from their “Shop Floor Custom” line, where they can change the aesthetics of an existing model, in this case to match the stylings of the Nagus, but at a lower price than a Custom Shop version.

All Naugus bridge pickups come with 4 Conductor wiring and Short Legs.  If you prefer different configurations we can special order it for you.

Custom Shop Nagus Bridge Models: Ceramic Magnet
DC Resistance:  7 Strings: 15.25k – 16.52k

Shop Floor Custom Sentient Neck Models: Alnico V Magnet
DC Resistance: 7 Strings: 9.2k

Due to the handmade custom nature of these pickups, the DC resistance will vary slightly on each pickup. Other factors such as metal covers and bobbin spacing will also affect the DC resistance.

“The NAGUS is named after the “Grand Nagus”, a character from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, my favorite tv show of all time. For those who get the reference: let’s just say these pickups sound heavier than 80 bars of gold pressed latinum! The idea for this pickup was to take all the things I’ve learned over the past 25 years of pickup experimentation and help come up with the best metal/hard rock pickup possible.
